These shortbread cookies are shaped like cheerful blossoms and are simple yet elegant!

Ingredients:
2 stick unsalted butter (softened)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 cups A.P flour
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
Food coloring of your choice
Directions:
In a bowl, cream butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
Add flour, salt, and vanilla, mixing until a dough forms.
Divide the dough into two portions:
Larger portion: Tint with your food coloring for the petals.
Smaller portion: Leave plain for the centers.
Roll small colored balls (about 1/2 inch) for the petals and roll slightly smaller plain balls for the centers.
Arrange 5 colored balls in a circle on a parchment-lined baking sheet around a plain one and press gently so they stick together.
Chill the shaped cookies in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to hold their shape.
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Bake for 15-20 minutes, until edges are lightly golden but colors remain vibrant.
Enjoy!🫶🏽
