Jelly Donuts

These jelly donuts are soft, pillowy pastries filled with sweet, fruity jam and dusted with powdered sugar. Light and fluffy on the inside with a delicate golden exterior, they’re a classic bakery favorite bursting with flavor in every bite!

Ingredients:
Yeast Mixture:
2 1/2 tsp Yeast
1/2 tsp Sugar
2 tbsp Warm Water
(Mix everything together)
Dough:
3 1/4 cups A.P Flour
1 cup warm Milk
1/3 cup melted Butter
3 Egg Yolks
3 tbsp Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt
Filling/Decoration:
Jam of your choice
Powdered sugar
Directions:
Add all of your dough ingredients and yeast mixture to a bowl and knead together or use the dough hook attachment on a stand mixer.
Once your dough is fully kneaded dump it out onto a floured surface and roll it out to about 1/2 an inch thick.
Use a circular cookie cutter to cut out all of your donuts.
Fry at 185 Celsius for about 90 seconds on each side.
Use a piping bag to fill them with jam and then dust with powdered sugar!
