Copycat Oreo Crumble Cookies

These copycat Oreo crumble cookies are soft, chewy, and topped with a creamy swirlfilled with that classic cookies-and-cream flavor.

Ingredients:
For the cookies:
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
10 Oreo cookies, crushed (some fine, some chunky) plus extra for topping
Ingredients:
For the cream cheese frosting:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1¼ cups powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
1–2 tbsp milk (as needed for piping consistency)
Directions for the cookies:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
3. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
5. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a thick dough forms.
6. Fold in crushed Oreos.
7. Scoop large dough balls and slightly flatten the tops.
8. Place spaced out on the baking sheet.
9. Bake for 10–15 minutes and let them cool completely.
Directions for the frosting:
1. Beat together the cream cheese and butter until creamy.
2. Add in your powdered sugar and vanilla and mix until smooth.
3. Slowly add the milk as needed to make it pipeable but thick.
Directions for decorating:
1. Pipe the icing in a swirl on top of each cookie and decorate with the extra Oreos.
2. Enjoy!
